Terms of Service for California Mobile CTC LLC
1. Services Provided California Mobile CTC LLC provides mobile vehicle emissions testing, including Opacity (smoke) testing and OBD data collection, for compliance with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Heavy-Duty Inspection and Maintenance (HD I/M) regulation.
2. Testing Requirements The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in a safe operating condition and accessible for testing at the scheduled time. For OBD testing, the vehicle’s communication port must be functional.
3. No Guarantee of Compliance Our service is to perform the test and report the data as found. California Mobile CTC LLC does not guarantee that a vehicle will pass state requirements. We are not responsible for any fines, registration holds, or enforcement actions taken by CARB or other agencies.
4. Limitation of Liability California Mobile CTC LLC is not liable for any mechanical issues that occur during the normal course of testing or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from a vehicle failing to meet state compliance standards.
5. Payment Terms Payment is due at the time of service unless prior billing arrangements have been made. As stated in our Refund Policy, fees are for the performance of the professional service and are non-refundable.
6. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
